FMF Entertainment Inc. ("we," "our," "us") operates ArtistCollab.Studio. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:
  • Account information: name, email, password, role (artist/producer)
  • Profile information: display name, bio, city, state, genres, profile photo, cover image
  • Social links: Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Instagram URLs
  • Music files: featured tracks, stems, mixes, and project deliverables
  • Payment information: processed securely through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
  • Communications: messages, chat attachments, and session notes
Information collected automatically:
  • Device and browser information
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • To process transactions and manage escrow payments
  • To facilitate collaboration between users (discovery, messaging, live sessions)
  • To verify user identity and prevent fraud
  • To send transactional notifications (booking confirmations, payment receipts, project updates)
  • To provide AI-powered tools (lyric assistance, mix feedback, session notes)
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and protect user safety

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
  • With other users: Your public profile, display name, avatar, genres, and ratings are visible to other users for discovery and collaboration purposes.
  • With service providers: We use Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for data storage, and Anthropic for AI features. These providers have their own privacy policies.
  • With your team/label: If you join a team, your profile and project data may be visible to team administrators.
  • For legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with Row Level Security policies. We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Payment data is handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:
  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Portability: Export your data in a structured format
  • Objection: Opt out of certain data processing activities

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records for tax compliance). Project files and chat history shared with other users may persist in those users' project records.

8. Cookies

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will promptly delete it.

10. International Users

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification. The "Effective" date at the top indicates the latest revision.
